Ronaldinho is coming to Budapest in October!
The world champion, Ballon d’Or Brazilian footballer will arrive at the European Teqball Tour event in Budapest, where fans will be able to meet him.
Brazil’s Champions League-winning footballer Ronaldinho will arrive in Budapest in October. He announced the news on his own Instagram page.
The Brazilian national team player, who is a former Barcelona star, is coming to Budapest at the invitation of the FITEQ (International Teqball Federation/Nemzetközi Teqball Szövetség) to participate in the next stop of the European Teqball Tour, which will be held in Budapest. The Teqball ambassador will also meet journalists and fans as he will take part in the European Teqball Tour finals at the Riz Levente Sports Hall in Budapest on 2 October.
After the Krakow World Series, the European Teqball Tour will hold its next event in Budapest from 29 September to 2 October. The event will bring together players from 25 countries and several continents. The total number of registered players is 150. The final of the European Teqball Tour on 2 October will be broadcast live on Sport TV and will be available to watch later on Eurosport. The total prize money for the event is USD 30,000.
Teqball, founded by György Gattyán, Viktor Huszár and Gábor Borsányi, was officially introduced by Ronaldinho on 18 October 2016 in Budapest, followed by the first Teqball World Championship a year later in 2017, also in Budapest.
